Cooperating Foreman tank construction

As a cooperating Foreman / welder tank construction, you work at our project locations at home and abroad and ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with the agreements made and correct procedures and guidelines.

SJR Greenhouse Tanks is a company that specializes in building and maintaining greenhouse tanks around the world. With our own production line in our factory in Maassluis, these tanks are produced as a kit and transported to the project locations.

What does your function look like?

The most important thing is that you, your team and others go home healthy after a successful working day. As a foreman, you ensure that work is done safely and that everyone wears the right PPE's. In addition, you guide the employees, provide instructions and ensure that everyone complies with them.

For each project, you divide the work, taking into account the work to be delivered. You ensure that the correct work instructions are followed.

You continuously monitor the progress of the work and keep a close eye on the daily work assignment and planning. You check the quality of the work during the execution, and you interact with the project executors of our customers.

What are you bringing?

  • You have at least 3 years of similar work experience as a foreman / welder in tank construction.
  • You are willing to travel the world and be away from home for several weeks a year.
  • You come from the tank building sector (preferably from the horticulture sector) and have knowledge of technology.
  • Have several years of experience with welding (preferably with electrodes).
  • A valid VCA certificate or be prepared to obtain it for employment.
  • A driving license B.
  • A good command of the Dutch and English language.
